Kombucha is a probiotic-filled, fermented tea that has been consumed in China for over 2200 years for its detoxifying and energizing properties. In fact, Swiss scientists claim it’s as beneficial for you as yogurt. But what is it? Kombucha is basically made from green or black tea that is added to white sugar that has been fermented with a type of tea fungus for a week or tea.
